We had the same stuff on the last day as well.. 

Our first destination – Yeliu!! 

The main purpose was to see that “Empress Head” rock which is probably going to disappear after xxx years later due to erosion.. All the rocks here are natural and results of Mother Nature.. Pretty amazing when you see what Mother Nature can do.. This place was SUPER beautiful.. We spent longer than we expected here and took LOADs of photos.. 

There’s alot more to Day 2 but too many to edit already.. Will do it tml or when I am in the mood again!! 

Work has been really hectic lately!!! But starting to get a bit free-er… which is not good! Time is passing slower… haha… 

Had an event over last weekend and it was a BLAST! Quite fun to see all my ‘customers’ coming down to Suntec and queueing up… It seemed like there isnt any recession at all from the way they were buying all the stuff… Was super tired but I have so much off days to clear!! Been taking 1/2 day offs lately to clear up.. 

Anyway, Berry was sick on Sunday and is still sick till now.. Recovering and getting better liao.. Started with him having diarrohea and looking very listless. Mum suggested we bring him to the vet cos he doesnt look right.. Had to take the day off from the event and sent him to the vet. Vet initially couldnt diagnose what was wrong cos they couldnt get any urine sample from him. But after hearing some symptoms which we described, they were guessing its either bladder infection or if serious, could be stones or crystals. If stones / crystals, its either ultrasound to remove them, or operation if serious. 

Vet also said we must monitor very closely. Cos if its crystals and he cannot pee for the whole day cos of the pain, he might die… Almost burst out crying when I heard it.. Brought him home and was feeling so heart pain and sad… and he was running a slight fever also… We waited the whole day and he managed to pee abit.. And brought him back to the vet on Monday to extract some urine.. Luckily they managed to and diagnosed that it was just bladder infection which can be cured by taking some antibiotics and vitamins… He’s still a bit weak but at least starting to pee more, fever subsiding and not as moody & listless liao… Thank God.. 

nothing much to update besides berry and work.. have been staying home alot more lately cos of Berry. Want to spend every moment with him till he recovers cos he’s soooo important to me… 

Kiki actually asked me if i will feel as sad if he was the one sick when he saw how sad I was.. Tsk… Cannot compare with Berry k! Just like asking me to choose between my family and you. Berry IS family.. 

Alright.. back to work.. sorry for the lack of photos.. will get down to doing it soon!

Decided to privatise some of my posts regarding you-know-what… just in case it leaks out… 

Will not be mentioning what the above means.. If you know me enough, you will know what I am talking about.. 

There will be no more posts related to that matter from now on. Its a closed chapter already.. If I really need to rant about it. I will be posting private / password protected posts.. sometimes it really just feels better to let it out somewhere. even if no one gets to read it..

Haha!! I know!! Anti-Climax right!!! 

Anyway, was intending to edit and blog my Day 2 in Taiwan today la…. BUT……

After sorting out the photos from my camera and my friend’s into the various folders and deleting the blurry or ‘extra’ shots which took me about 45 mins (1.3GB worth of photos for Day 2).. its already almost 11.45pm!! And the best part is, I only managed to delete half of the blurry and unwanted photos.. Need to sift through the lot before I can choose the best to ‘collagify’ it.. 

So… I will be posting them later this week or next! Heh.. 

And I am intending to sleep really early tonight cos havent had enough sleep the last few nights… been very stressed at work since I joined on 13th April. Its barely my first month here and I havent left work on time so far… Earliest being 7pm when I have to rush to meet friends.. That’s how bad it is…  

Actually its not required of us to stay late la.. just that expectations of me are really really really high and I have to really work hard to prove that I was worth it.. Just got some news today that the initial plan to recruit 3 other people for the same position (4 positions were open in all) has been scrapped. They are intending to promote / train people in the company to my position instead.

Not sure if its because they are cutting costs, or that I was ‘lousy’ or cos of what I told my direct boss.. My 2nd day here and I asked him straight about my position.. “Why was an outsider employed instead of promoting the existing leaders or training them up to the position?” , which he agreed. Anyway, will share more about the company structure some other time. Its a little too heavy for now… 

Anyway, it just means I have to work EVEN harder from now on to prove that I was worth the $$.. Stress!!!!!!

Alrighty.. gonna head to bed liao. Budget review meeting tomorrow… zzz…
