Hurray!!!!

Just finished clearing all work related stuff, emails, etc.. Even drafted my farewell letter!!

Now all ready to sit back & relax for the next 2 days before I go!! Although a bit sad to leave the place cos I’ve made plenty of friends here.. But the time has come for us to part. I am sure I will continue to keep in contact with some of them!

And then it’s time to get ready for my upcoming Bangkok trip!! So fun!! this will be the 2nd last trip for this year before I take a break from traveling and focus on working hard! This has been a fun-filled year with all my holidays!!! Love love!

And it will be time to start work at my new place once I get back! It has been something that I wanted to do since I graduated from school xx years back. And I finally have a chance to do it! I hope it will be a good learning ground to brush up on my marketing and strategy skills! I am sick of being stagnant and not learning new & useful things!!! It is time to focus and work hard on my career!!

There are some other updates in my life but I am not ready to announce some of them yet. Will update when I am more mentally prepared! Ho ho ho!!!

Back from Batam!

Had a great great holiday with the babes at Batam! Must keep reemphasizing because it was really SO MUCH FUN!

A boring place but with great company makes a world of a difference! We had so much fun gossiping, chatting, shopping, eating, slacking, watching the first World Cup match together!

Anyway, here are the pictures! Shall let the pictures do the talking! Love this trip!

Day 1:

Day 2:

Day 3:

The next holiday coming up should be Hong Kong, Macau & Zhuhai with a few friends in October! I know I just went there, but this time with company and spending more time there! Should be fun! I can’t wait!

New Blog Skin

Decided to put the other major blog skin project on hold and use this other one which I designed for Fusionade instead. Since I did put in some effort into this one and only used it for a short while, might as well.

And not to mention that I love the purple!!!

Anyway, during the recent holiday with the girls, and during our chats, Maddy brought up the topic of diving more than often. I guess it did influence me a little. And we spent a lot of time in the hotel watching documentaries on the TV showing underwater creatures.

But I m still unable to convince myself as of now due to the serious diving accident which my friend got into previously. She’s still suffering from the after effects of it. But I must say it did evoke some interest in me. I will give some serious thought about it I guess. Like she said, she picked up diving cos she doesn’t want to die with regrets.

Back from Batam!

My brother just told me that I have this “Lately I’ve been busy / lazy / neglecting my blog” nonsense at least once in every 3 entries.. Which is true..

Had a good laugh at it and I swore never to blog this line EVER!!!

Anyway, just came back from Batam! Had a superb trip with the babes! First time going on a trip with the WF-ers and it was so so so so GOOD!! We were chatting about knowing each other for about 10 years and this being the first ‘official’ trip together if we exclude Chiangmai YEP & Canada’s summer exchange. Only 3 of us went this time but it was still a good trip!

Had a good time chatting, gossiping, shopping, massaging, spa-ing, manicuring, etc! It’s been so long since I went on an all girls trip! The last few trips were mostly with some guy friends who always gave me the “roll eye” look when I want to do a manicure or want to go into “One More Shoe Shop”… (Yes Sig, this is directing at you guys)

The trip was so good we are planning for another trip real soon to make up for the “lost” Bangkok shopping trip!!

Pictures of trip will be uploaded soon! For now, I am concentrating on the World Cup – South Korea vs Greece!!!!!

Back from Phuket!!

Had a great great trip this time round!!! One of the best slacking trips ever!!

Stayed at this villa called Villa Baan Sabai! One of my cousins managed to get the deal from her colleague who won it at the company D & D for a good price. Apparently the place was owned by one of the directors who sponsored 3D2N stay for the top prize..

Well for more information, visit their website here. Retail price is USD800 to USD1,200 per day’s stay. Very expensive in my opinion. If you happen to have 9 other very close friends who are willing to fork out about $800 each including air fare, this can be a pretty good spot for a holiday though!

Anyway, more about the place, we had a private gym, mini theatre, bar, pool table and 5 villas to be shared by the 11 of us who went! 3 staff to cook 3 meals, wash dirty laundry and clean the place for us, 2 drivers to drive us anywhere want.. What more do we ask for? And yes! All this is included in the deal!! Definitely good!!! Not to mention free flow of drinks and beer. We only need to pay if we finish whatever’s provided and if we want seafood included in the meals, otherwise it’s all FREEE!!!

Took loads of pictures this trip cos I brought my DSLR along. Am very lazy to do up the pictures 1 by 1, so I am just gathering all the nice photos into a few collages! To friends who are on Facebook, all the pictures are repeated.. Haha.. But here goes!!

Tour of the place when we first arrived!

All the food consumed while we were there!

View of the beaches we went to!

Phuket Factory Outlet! Shiok!

Lastly, photos of the family over the 3 days!

That’s all for the 3 days! We had great fun!! Too bad this is going to be a one time offer only! Doubt we will ever get to go again unless we can find 10 people who are willing to pay so much for a trip to Phuket..

Thanks Junie Jie and Kiwi Biao Jie Fu for the sponsored trip! Thanks Uncle for the great lobster dinners!! We all had fun!
